20 Sublime Toe Tattoos

The Human body itself is a piece of art, and looking for new expressions by help of body art, people have come across toe tattoos. We all know our fingers have got names like index finger or ring finger; but is there something you should know about toes? Decorating feet and toes originates from India where beautiful henna paintings have attracted the attention of the entire world.  More than paintings, wearing feet jewellery like toe rings and ankle bracelets is a pretty traditional thing there as well. Big toe or second toe on each foot traditionally is considered a place for… wedding ring! Doesn’t it add some meaning to getting small tattoos inked on your toes showing your deep connection to something specific?

Tattoos on toes are always small and not too detailed, but also not too visible, so what makes people want to get them: in all official situations your toes anyway will be hidden and wouldn’t make any wrong impression or tell too much about you, in other situations – does it really matter? Ladies are keen on getting flowers, bows, small religious symbols, diamonds, stars, hearts and Indian henna tattoos resembling ornaments inked on their toes. There are also tattoos designs for men to ink on toes like skulls, anchors and lucky numbers that get places both on the upper part of toes or under.
Toe ring tattoos can be designed in many different styles and can be placed on just one toe of your choice or on all of them. You can also get a name or any word inked as a ring around a toe or you can choose a word and tattoo each letter on one toe.

Thinking about getting toe tattoos take in consideration that there is a pretty important warning: for many people it’s not easy to take good care of tattoos on their toes in the healing process. While healing other tattoos is not difficult, you have to pay double attention to your feet, because it is easy to get infections if your toes are not kept clean and protected well from environmental abuse.
